To be handled quickly, a report should state: the content concerned and where it was seen (room, nickname, date and time), why you consider it illegal and, except for child sexual abuse material, your name and email address, together with a statement confirming that you are acting in good faith. Each report is reviewed diligently; if you provided an email address, you are informed of the action taken.
Reminder: presenting content as illegal while knowing it to be accurate, in order to have it removed, is punishable by one year's imprisonment and a €15,000 fine (LCEN).
In case of immediate danger, contact the emergency services first (112 in Europe). To report illegal content to the French authorities: www.internet-signalement.gouv.fr (PHAROS).
