Chat5 is built on self-moderated rooms of 5 people. Every member helps keep conversations great.
Age limit: 18 and over
Chat5 is for adults only. By entering a room, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.
Respect and kindness
Every topic is allowed, and so is casual language, but not threats, harassment, unwanted sexual advances, hate speech or insults aimed at someone. Everyone should be able to speak without fear.
Safety and privacy
Never share personal information: address, phone number, email, social media. Always turn down offers to meet up. Links, emails and phone numbers are blocked automatically.
No advertising or spam
No advertising, no spam, don't send mass messages and don't ask people to visit links or profiles.
Authenticity and anonymity
Anonymity is the rule. Choose a display name without impersonating anyone else.
Reliable information
Avoid spreading false information. If you're not sure about something, say so.
Community safety
Report inappropriate behaviour. 3 reports against the same member remove them from the room automatically. The room admin can also remove a member.

Chat5 is made for meeting people and having a good time. Switch rooms whenever you like, start a topic, suggest a game.
Safety tips
A random chat can be unpredictable. Think about your personal safety and your privacy.
- Don't share your phone number, address, email, passwords or private accounts.
- Don't send money, gifts, intimate photos or videos to someone you have only met online.
- People can pretend to be someone else or use fake information.
- Be careful if someone pushes you to move to another app or messaging service.
- Leave the chat and report any suspicious, underage, abusive, sexual or spam behaviour.
