Domino'color: align 4 cards of your colour

Domino'color is a card game on a shared board, in the spirit of Punto. Each player has one colour. Place your cards, block the others, and be the first to align four of your colour.

A match takes a few minutes, and every player's cards use the same colour as their name in the room.

The rules in 4 lines

Each player has one colour (2 to 5 players) and 12 cards numbered 1 to 6, in two copies.
On your turn, play your next card next to a card already on the board, or on top of a weaker card.
The first player to align 4 cards of their colour in a row wins the round.
If nobody can align, the player with the most almost-complete lines wins.

Timers

Each turn lasts 10 or 20 seconds, chosen by the room admin. If time runs out, your card is discarded and it is the next player's turn. The admin can pause the game at any time.

Strategy tips

Cover a strong card of another colour when it blocks you.
Build two directions at once: it is harder to stop.
Keep an eye on the cards left in each player's hand.
