GameDraw and guess online with your room
One player draws a word on a shared board, the others try to guess it. Nobody needs to be good at drawing: the fun is in how wrong it can go.
The game is played in rounds, with the drawer changing each time, and works with 2 to 5 players.
How a round works
- The drawer receives three words and has 15 seconds to choose one.
- They then have 90 seconds to draw it. Everyone else sees the drawing appear live and sees the number of letters.
- Guessers type their ideas in the game field. Ideas are shown to the room, and the drawer picks the winner.
- The winner earns 2 points, the drawer 1, and the winner draws next.
Drawing tips
- Start with the simplest shape. A sun is a circle with lines.
- Draw what you would see, not what you would write: no letters or numbers.
- Use colours to separate parts of the drawing.
Guessing tips
- Say your guesses quickly: they all appear, and they help the others.
- Think about categories: animal, object, place, action.
Questions
Can I draw on my phone?
Yes. The drawing board works with a finger or a mouse.
Can the drawer type the word in the chat?
No. The word cannot be written in the chat while a round is in progress.
How long does a game last?
Between 4 and 10 rounds depending on the number of players, about 10 to 20 minutes.
Can the admin pause the game?
Yes, timers can be paused and resumed at any time.
